The Brighton Project

“It’s all about the Music for me.”

Johnny Brighton has created a musical experience in Bourbon Street Stories that always points back to the passion for the music. The songs emerged from his stormy visit to New Orleans, and they tell the story of a voyage from agony to reclamation. Like good Gumbo, they cook up a sonic tour of New Orleans, telling stories of love, loss and redemption. Johnny provided concepts and musical sketches with lyrics and melodies, while a group of musical heavyweights provided the arrangements, motifs, structures and knock out performances.

The inspired result was 20 plus songs that create an impassioned street-side, street-wise narrative. This is the rock 'n roll gumbo served up hot and spicy, down on Bourbon Street. Anybody's ears hungry? Dig in!
